FULL DAY NGORONGORO CRATER SAFARI. You will drive right across the Serengeti Plains, past traditional Maasai villages and then onto the Olduvai Gorge.

MORU KOPJES, GONG ROCK AND MAASAI ROCK-PAINTING SAFARI. In addition to the breathtaking scenery and the chance to spot one of the elusive Black Rhinos that inhabit the area, your guides will explain the history and cultural significance of Gong Rock and the Rock Paintings.

EXPERIENCES

SERONERA AND THE CENTRAL SERENGETI. Look up to the Sausage Trees that line the banks of the river in search of a leopard, or seek out shaded patches for lions in search of a place to rest. Head slightly further south to explore the Maasai Kopjes, where between April and November you may spot a cheetah.

SOUTHERN SERENGETI AND NDUTU. It is possible to see the Great Migration, but your expert driver-guide can advise on exact timings depending on the year’s rainfall. February is also birthing season for wildebeest and during this green season, thousands of wildebeest feed on the lush green grass of southern Serengeti.

THE WESTERN CORRIDOR. When the wildebeest are in the Western Corridor, a full-day game drive can allow you to view the Migration scattered in the woodland against a hilly backdrop. This region is also where the wildebeest rut (mating season) takes place and where the herds must cross the tree-lined Grumeti River.

EXPERIENCES

WALKING SAFARI. Gain a new perspective of the Serengeti on a 90 minute walk through the bush, learning about the finer details. Led by our Resident Naturalist and accompanied by Maasai guides and armed national park rangers for security, learn all about insects, animal tracks and traditional plant-use, followed by a sunset sundowner cocktail with canapés.
