Met upon arrival into Longyearbyen you will have a short transfer to Funken Lodge where you have a chance to relax and adjust following your flight. Tonight you have a private dinner at the stunning Gruvlagaret Restaurant for a 4 course meal and overview of Longyearbyen, its history and surrounds.

DAY 2-8 EXPLORING SVALBARD
This is pure Arctic expedition. Travelling on a low impact ship like Selar gives us the flexibility to explore where condition sand wildlife sightings are best. Expect to sail through ice-filled fjords flanked by dramatic snow-covered peaks, with opportunities to encounter iconic species such as polar bears, walrus, whales, and seals. On land, you may spot Arctic fox, Svalbard reindeer, and discover the resilience of Arctic flora.

DAY 9 DEPART LONGYEARBYEN
You will arrive back into Longyearbyen in the early morning,disembark and then time to say your final farewells and begin your journey home.
Dwellings
Accommodating just 36 passengers across 18 stylish cabins, Selar offers the rare combination of small-group exclusivity with the comfort and facilities ofa much larger ship. Her interiors are warm and refined, influenced by Scandinavian design principles. Onboard amenities include a sauna and Norwegian bath, a fitness room, a library, and an open bridgepolicy, allowing guests to engage with navigation and wildlife spotting along side the crew.
